The Last Voyage
The S. S. Claridon is slated for her five last voyages after thirty-eight years in service. Following a boiler-room explosion, Captain Robert Adams hesitates to abandon the steamship. As the crew struggles to brace a bulkhead separating the flooded boiler room from the engine room to avert the vessel's sinking, passenger Cliff Henderson races against time to save his wife Laurie Henderson, who is trapped beneath a steel beam in her cabin, with the aid of crewman Hank Lawson.
