The Legend of the Mekong River

Paetai, an archaeologist, has always dreamt of herself wearing traditional clothing and of a fatal incident in which she is killed. She is summoned to analyze an ancient artifact, only to discover that the artifact is fake. There she meets Songpop, who bears the same face as the person who killed her in the dream, and she hates him at once. Even so, despite their mutual enmity, fate repeatedly draws them together. Their destinies are tied to the legend of Nak Usa, a land protected by the Four Clans of Serpents (Nak). Paetai and Songpop uncover a slab that acts as a door to Nak Usa. This information leaks to artifact collectors who wish to possess the treasures of Nak Usa as well. Paetai and Songpop race against time in an adventure to locate the treasures of Nak Usa.
