The Life & Times of Tim

The Life & Times of Tim is an HBO animated comedy series created by Steve Dildarian. Premiering on September 28, 2008, it follows Tim, a hapless man in his mid-20s who lives in New York City with his girlfriend Amy, as he navigates a string of increasingly awkward situations in both his work and his personal life. The first season, broadcast in 2008, developed a cult following worldwide. The second season premiered on February 19, 2010, on HBO. On June 4, 2010, HBO announced the show’s cancellation, sparking rumors of a revival on another network. However, on August 16, 2010, HBO reversed its decision and ordered a third season, which premiered on December 16, 2011. DVD releases followed: Season 1 on February 9, 2010; Season 2 on December 13, 2011; and Season 3 on December 18, 2012. HBO ultimately cancelled the series on April 20, 2012, after three seasons. The theme song is 'I'll Never Get Out of This World Alive,' performed by Hank Williams.
