The Little Love God

A well-placed Macedonian physician lives comfortably with his wife in Montenegro, sustained by an inheritance from his parents. Abruptly, his life is overturned by a string of unforeseen reversals: his wife vanishes without a trace, the bank where his funds are kept collapses, the authorities confiscate his passport, and he is being stalked by his wife's father. Alone, abandoned and without help, he sets out on a solitary journey.
