The Loved One
Freshly arrived in Hollywood from England, Dennis Barlow is forced to organize his uncle’s burial at the impeccably run and highly lucrative Whispering Glades funeral parlour. There, he becomes captivated by one of the establishment’s cosmeticians, Aimee Thanatogenos. However, he faces three obstacles: the rigid regulations imposed by owner Blessed Reverend Glenworthy, the competition of embalmer Mr. Joyboy, and the embarrassment of his own new job at The Happy Hunting Ground pets’ memorial home.
