I really enjoyed this show. It offers a refreshing take on Arthurian legends by focusing on Merlin’s origins instead of the usual King Arthur storyline. The show does a great job blending mythology, history, and fantasy, creating a world that feels both mystical and grounded. The atmosphere and locations give the series a strong historical fantasy feel, and the story slowly builds Merlin’s journey in an interesting way. Even though the pacing can feel a little rushed at times, the overall narrative and lore make it very engaging. If you enjoy fantasy series with deep mythology and a darker tone, this show is definitely worth watching. I’m really hoping it gets another season because the story feels like it has much more to explore.
