The Pilot: A Battle for Survival
December 1941, on the Northwestern Front, a German tank column advances toward Moscow. In a mission to halt the invasion, Nikolai Komlev's IL-2 is shot down. He crash-lands his aircraft in a remote forest clearing—alive but far from friendly territory. Ahead lies a brutal test of extreme physical and mental endurance. After battling hunger and freezing cold, and evading packs of wolves and detachments of Nazi soldiers, the wounded Komlev finally fights his way back to safety. Yet there, he confronts another challenge—the most life-changing of them all.
