The Protector
Billy Wong, a New York City police officer, has his partner gunned down during a robbery. He is paired with a new partner, Danny Garoni, and the duo are on security duty at a fashion show when Laura Shapiro, the daughter of a wealthy man, is kidnapped. Federal agents suspect Laura's father is involved with Mr. Ko, a Hong Kong drug kingpin, prompting the NYC police commissioner to send the two cops to Hong Kong to investigate.
