The Return of Doctor X
While interviewing the bombshell actress Angela Merrova, news reporter Walter Garrett finds her dead from multiple stab wounds. He returns with the police to the hotel, only to find it deserted and the body missing. Garrett publishes an account of the incident, but is fired when Merrova, alive and well, goes to the newspaper to file a complaint. With his job on the line, his only chance to reclaim it is to uncover the truth, which leads to a grisly scheme hatched by a madman.
