The Ruining

The Troma Team proudly presents THE RUINING, a striking new film from filmmaker Chris Burgard. Shot over ten years, it echoes the grime and grit of late 70s and early 80s horror cinema. Traditional family values are disturbingly challenged as two Los Angeles couples encounter trouble on a remote mountain camping expedition. Thirty years ago, government drilling poisoned the water supply of a small town, and half the town perished. Those that remain became horribly addicted to psychedelic eggs bred by old Henry Behrens. When outsiders intrude into his domain, the stage is set for selective breeding and feeding of human flesh. Henry's 17-year-old daughter Becky is beautiful and thinks that she is a German shepherd.
