The Saphead
Nick Van Alstyne, owner of the Henrietta silver mine, sits on immense wealth, while his son Bertie is naive and spoiled. His daughter Rose is married to a shady investor named Mark. Mark wrecks Bertie's wedding plans by coercing him to take the blame for Mark's illegitimate daughter, and he nearly imperils the family business by selling off some stock at too low a price.
