The Severing Crime Edge

Killing Goods are murder weapons passed down through generations within their owners’ families. Cursed to drive each current bearer to reenact the original murders, they are also impossible to destroy. Kiri Haimura is the present owner of a pair of shears capable of cutting seemingly anything, though the only thing he truly wants to cut is hair. One day, he encounters Iwai Mushanokoji, a girl he has only known through rumors: her hair cannot be cut, and she can grant one wish—any wish—to the person who murders her. Every morning, he trims her hair, which grows back each night; and each day, he helps shield her from those who know of her curse and seek to have a wish fulfilled.
