The Stork
The Stork is a character-driven comedy following well-meaning yet utterly clueless parents of a queer woman who hopes to start a family through artificial insemination with online-ordered Norwegian sperm — a route many LGBTQ couples pursue. When the pivotal delivery arrives and their daughter isn’t home, the parents step in to help, only for the sample to be accidentally destroyed. Trapped in an awkward, decidedly delicate predicament with the delivery driver, the trio frantically scrambles to salvage the situation before she finds out. As they propose increasingly outlandish solutions, their loving misunderstandings spark a witty clash between good intentions and ignorance. Through chaos, confusion, and stubborn determination, The Stork examines how far parents will go to safeguard their child’s happiness. It’s a warm, mischievous tale about unconditional love, acceptance, and the messy beauty of giving your all — even when you’re not entirely sure what you’re doing.
