The Thirteenth Tale
Biographer Margaret Lea travels to the secluded countryside estate of acclaimed author Vida Winter, who asks her to craft her life story. Initially reluctant, given Winter's habit of bending the truth, Margaret soon becomes engrossed in a haunting account of a troubled childhood, a narrative that compels her to confront the traumas of her own past.
