The Wall-Passer
In a near-future setting, 17-year-old Tye and his family relocate to the expanding metropolis of Real City. Frustrated with school, he passes his days in daydreams until a magic stone grants him the power to pass through walls. On a museum field trip, Tye meets NoNo, a deaf girl with bionic ears who works as a docent. They grow close, but Tye discovers she has a boyfriend and presses her to choose between them. NoNo tells him to return in twenty years, then vanishes from his life, leaving only a photo of her beside a signpost reading Elsewhere. Tye uses the magic stone to travel to Elsewhere, only to find a desolate world filled with discarded things, where he encounters an alluring blind girl named Ya-hung. Two worlds, two realities, two girls: what will Tye's choice be?
