The Wild Chicks
Twelve-year-old Sprotte leads a close-knit crew: her friends Frieda, Melanie, and Trude. Together they tend to Sprotte's grandmother's chickens. The newest student, Wilma, hopes to join their circle, a prospect that provokes Melanie's discontent. To complicate matters, the group is also navigating an ongoing revalisasion with a cohort of boys.
