They Fight

Former convict Walt Manigan returns to his hometown to rebuild his family with his beloved Ketta. His path leads him to a boxing gym housed inside a Washington, D.C. youth recreation center that stands on the verge of closure. There, he trains under the wise coach Slim to mentor a group of boys as they prepare for the junior national boxing tournament, culminating in a showdown between best friends Quincey and Peanut as they contend for a berth on the U.S. Junior Olympic Team.
