Thong Eak, The Pharmacist of Chaloang

A romantic comedy unfolds in the era of Rama V (Chulalongkorn). Thong In is a seasoned doctor who has treated countless patients. His grandson, Thong Ake, desires to become a traditional healer and studies ancient Thai medicine. When one of Thong In’s patients dies and he is blamed for the death, he isolates himself and fears his grandson might follow the same path. Nevertheless, Thong Ake remains determined to prove himself to his grandfather.
