To Rob a Thief
Emilio, a deft Colombian con artist, lands in Los Angeles with a strict two‑week window to pull off a score against his former associate, Claudio Silvestrini, who has built a fortune peddling dubious infomercial remedies to Latin immigrants. Emilio’s ally, Alejandro, a dealer of pirated DVDs, has assembled a ragtag crew of amateurs who believe their immigrant status will help them go undetected. The caper hinges on infiltrating Silvestrini’s heavily guarded mansion, stealing two keys to access a vault, and then extracting the cash from the premises. The team features a father and his tomboy daughter, a nervous Cuban actor, a tech expert, and a muscle man, with Alejandro also courting Silvestrini’s nanny. Will this eclectic lineup be enough?
