Totems
Set in 1965 amid the Cold War, Totems follows French scientist Francis Mareuil as he begins a life in espionage. While serving with the French Secret Service and the CIA, Mareuil meets Lyudmila Goloubeva, a pianist forced to work for the KGB. A romance blossoms between them, but neither can be sure which feelings are genuine and which are the product of political maneuvering.
