Tres Caínes
The narrative follows the Castaño Gil family, a prosperous cattle ranching clan, whose patriarch José Castaño is kidnapped and murdered by guerrillas. This devastating event spurs brothers Fidel, Vicente, and Carlos to unite and form a self-defense militia to confront the guerrillas, intensifying Colombia’s armed conflict. Yet what appears to be a cohesive struggle is threatened by betrayal.
