Under the Tuscan Sun
Frances Mayes, a 35-year-old professor and writer from San Francisco, sets out on a Tuscan sojourn after a difficult divorce. In a spontaneous move, she buys a run-down villa in the Italian countryside, and as she tends to its faded walls, she begins to rebuild her life in unexpected ways.
