Uzukawamura Incident
Dr. Akira Iwamori, a physician, searches for his missing wife and takes his daughter to visit her hometown, the village of Uzukawa. Once there, a landslide triggered by heavy rains isolates the village from the outside world. Fear and unease grip the residents as a murder shatters the community. The once tightly knit villagers grow volatile, and Akira is drawn into a local power struggle within Uzukawa, where he uncovers new information about his wife's whereabouts.
