Viceroy's House
In 1947, Lord Mountbatten becomes the final Viceroy, entrusted with returning India to its people, and resides upstairs in the house that had long served as the seat of British rule, while five hundred Hindu, Muslim and Sikh servants occupy the downstairs quarters.
