Victorinos

Victorinos is a Spanish-language telenovela produced for Telemundo, the United States–based television network. It premiered on June 23, 2009, arriving to fill the slot left by Sin Senos no hay Paraíso and concluded on February 5, 2010. The series is a remake of the 1991 RTI Colombia weekly program "Cuando Quiero Llorar No Lloro," which itself is based on the homonymous 1970 novel by Venezuelan writer Miguel Otero Silva. Ramiro Meneses, who is currently directing the Telemundo telenovela, starred as one of the Victorinos in the 1991 RTI adaptation. The serial aired Monday through Friday and ran for over 26 weeks. As with most Telemundo productions, English subtitles are provided on CC3 as closed captions. Ironically, it was replaced later by the original serial of the show it had replaced. Telemundo is currently re-airing the series in the 12:30/11:30 PM slot.
