A mysterious virus begins to spread, triggering the emotion of love in every infected person, an emotion that intensifies until it destroys the one who loves. The pessimist Taek-seon, who takes no pleasure in life, becomes infected, and the researcher Gyun reaches out to her to test the medicine he is developing.
