Walker, Texas Ranger

Set in modern-day Texas, Ranger Cordell Walker enforces the law with methods rooted in the rugged traditions of the Old West. His closest ally is former Ranger C.D. Parker, who retired after a knee injury and now runs C.D.'s, a Country/Western saloon and restaurant. Rookie Ranger James "Jimmy" Trivette is a former football player who relies on reason and employs computers and cellular phones to solve crimes. Alex Cahill, the Assistant District Attorney, shares a mutual attraction with Walker, yet frequently challenges his unorthodox approach to law enforcement.
