What It All Could Be
Hum lives in a refugee camp on the outskirts of Hamburg, where his passion for cinema funds his trips to the movies by selling lost items collected during cinema visits within the camp. One day he meets Anna and her friend Ida. Over a meal in their shared flat, they discover a mutual love of music. Anna and Ida sing beautifully together, and Hum shares his contacts with friends who play in a band. A timid and touching love story blossoms between Hum and Anna. They both look forward to the band's first performance, in which Anna now sings. But shortly before the show, Hum faces deportation. Neither his love for Anna and music nor his imagination can save him from the everyday life of a refugee.
