Where Butterflies Don't Fly

Daniel is an unconventional 19-year-old who shares a home with relentlessly quarrelling parents, uncomplaining about his fate. He keeps his distance from others, has no friends, and feels fundamentally different. With his nineteenth birthday near and graduation looming, he shows little inclination for exam prep. Adam, his class teacher, is openly gay and lives with his younger partner David, guarding a tightly kept secret behind a door in their apartment. Daniel and Adam move through their own separate bubbles until a moment when fate brings them together amid a life-threatening crisis. Lost in darkness and cut off from the world, they search for a way out. How far will they go?
