Wounded Birds
Yaralı Kuşlar (الطيور الجريحة / Wounded Birds) is a 2019 Turkish drama that follows Meryem and her adopted younger brother Ömer, two orphans whose lives are shattered when their violent, manipulative father emerges from prison and drags Ömer into criminal schemes. In a bid to escape the havoc he leaves behind, they flee to Istanbul, where Meryem encounters Levent—a man hollowed by his own tragic loss. Two wounded souls, one powerful love story, and a relentless fight to survive against all odds.
