On Nozomi's birthday, trouble arrives as Bunbee pursues a girl from another world, Chocola. When the Pretty Cure rescue her, Chocola expresses gratitude by guiding them to her homeland, Dessert Kingdom. In this candy-filled utopia, where rivers of juice flow and trees yield candy, they feel perfectly at ease. But their serenity is shattered by the villainous Mushiban and his two subordinates, Dry and Bitter. They seek to seize the kingdom and turn the Pretty Cure into sweets. To save not only Nozomi's birthday but the entire Dessert Kingdom, the Pretty Cure must fight Dry and Bitter and also confront their own friend Coco, who has been brainwashed by Mushiban.
