She is known for roles in Code of Silence (1985), The Dark Knight (2008), and Nothing Like the Holidays (2008). In addition to acting, she hosted MBR: The Minority Business Report on WGN-TV for ten years and has worked as an educator and business executive. A bilingual performer, she has appeared alongside numerous Hollywood actors throughout her career.
