The nominations for the 69th Grammy Awards will be announced on Monday, 16 November 2026. The livestream starts at 4:45 AM Pacific, which is 6:15 PM IST, so you can watch it live after college or work. It streams free on Grammy.com and the Grammys' YouTube channel, and the full list goes up on Grammy.com straight after.
The ceremony itself is on Sunday, 7 February 2027, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. It's a big switch: after decades on CBS, the show moves to ABC, Disney+ and Hulu, its first time on ABC since 1972, per the Recording Academy.

How to watch the Grammy nominations from India
Easy one. The announcement streams free on Grammy.com and the official Grammys YouTube channel from 6:15 PM IST on Monday, 16 November. A group of past winners and nominees will read out the nominees. The Academy says it'll name them closer to the day.
The full nominee list in all 100 categories goes up on Grammy.com as soon as the stream ends, and there's a wrap-up show on the Grammys' YouTube and socials after that. We'll add the big-category nominees to this page the same evening.
Five new Grammy categories for 2027
The Recording Academy is adding five categories this year:
Best Asian Pop Music Performance
The one K-pop stans have been waiting for. It covers pop music that comes from or is big in Asian markets, and the Academy names K-Pop, J-Pop and C-Pop as examples.
Best R&B Collaboration or Duo/Group Performance
For R&B groups, duos and features between artists.
Best Traditional Pop Vocal Performance
For classic-style pop singles, such as new takes on Great American Songbook standards.
Best Traditional Folk Album
Folk albums built on traditional song structures and instruments from around the world.
Best Latin Song
A songwriting award for new Latin songs where at least 51% of the lyrics are in Spanish.
Other rule changes
Voters get a new opt-in option called Ballot Plus. Normally members vote in up to 10 categories across three genre fields, plus the six big general categories. Ballot Plus lets members with credits across several genres vote in up to 15 categories regardless of field.
The Academy has also changed the Best New Artist guidelines and lowered the number of new recordings an album needs to qualify.
Can you watch the 2027 Grammys in India?
In the US the show is on ABC and streams on Disney+ and Hulu. No India broadcaster or streamer has been announced yet, and the Academy hasn't confirmed the start time either.
