CBDT's New Income Tax Rules: Bigger HRA, Landlord Alert!

The CBDT has just dropped some spicy new rules for the Income Tax Act! Starting April 1, 2026, salary earners can enjoy a bigger HRA benefit, but they’ll need to keep their landlord in the loop. With the number of tax sections slashed from 819 to 536 and over 150 new forms introduced, tax time just got a little less scary!
