Govt tasks EPFO to study benefits of formalizing workers

The central government has asked the EPFO to explore if moving informal workers to formal jobs can boost their income and job security. This study needs to be done in three months, as the finance committee believes it’s crucial. They're also worried about AI disrupting jobs and suggest focusing on small businesses and tourism to create more jobs.
