Paytm Payments Services gets RBI nod for offline payments

Paytm's fintech superstar, One97 Communications, just got the thumbs up from the Reserve Bank of India! Their sidekick, Paytm Payments Services Limited (PPSL), can now handle offline payments and cross-border transactions. This new license, granted on December 17, 2025, boosts their previous online license, making it easier for merchants to accept payments everywhere.
