RBI's ₹65,322 crore surprise in banking system!

On Friday, the Reserve Bank of India decided to sprinkle ₹65,322 crore into the banking system through a six-day auction. This was a bit less than the ₹75,000 crore they had in mind, thanks to some pesky tax payments. Overall, the banking system is still sitting on a comfy surplus of ₹48,698 crore!
