RBI Deputy Governor T. Rabi Sankar calls out banks for rupee woes

In a recent conference in Paris, RBI Deputy Governor T. Rabi Sankar called out foreign-exchange market makers for making the rupee weaker during tensions in West Asia. He pointed out that banks were playing risky games with currency trades, which put pressure on the rupee. Luckily, after some strict rules from the RBI, the rupee has started to bounce back and is now the best performer in Asia!
