RBI holds steady with repo rate at 5.25% amid tensions

The Reserve Bank of India, led by Governor Sanjay Malhotra, decided to keep the repo rate steady at 5.25% during their meeting from April 6-8. This neutral stance comes as crude oil prices soar due to tensions in West Asia. The SDF rate is at 5%, while both the MSF and bank rates are set at 5.5%. Looks like no changes here!
