RBI shakes up markets with surprise dollar sales!
On Thursday, India's central bank surprised everyone by selling a ton of dollars before the market opened. This caused the rupee to bounce back to 90.4550 per dollar, up from 90.70! A big bank was selling dollars like there was no tomorrow, leaving traders scratching their heads about the timing. The Reserve Bank of India insists they just want to keep things steady, not hit any specific targets.
