Rupee plays it cool as dollar stumbles and markets rise
On Monday, the Indian rupee decided to play it cool, closing at 90.1525 against the dollar. It was caught between a weaker dollar and strong demand from local companies. Meanwhile, optimism over U.S.-India trade talks lifted spirits a bit, and the BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 managed to bounce back, climbing about 0.4% each!
