Rupee takes a dive past 91 against dollar amid market jitters
The rupee has taken a tumble, slipping past 91 against the dollar! It dropped to 91.09 before settling at 91.03. Foreign investors pulled out over $2 billion, causing some jitters in the market. The finance minister pointed to trade issues with the US as a reason for the rupee's woes. A weaker rupee might help exports but could make imports pricier!
