Rupee Takes a Dive to 95.17 Against Dollar in Trade

The rupee took a little dive, slipping 9 paise to 95.17 against the dollar on Thursday morning. It started at 95.13 but couldn’t keep its balance due to some geopolitical jitters, even with lower oil prices trying to cheer it up. Meanwhile, the stock market was on a bit of a rollercoaster ride too, with the Sensex climbing and Nifty inching up.
