Rupee tumbles again but RBI saves the day from new lows

The rupee took another tumble on Tuesday, marking five days of decline! Thanks to some global jitters, the RBI swooped in to sell dollars and save the day, keeping the rupee from hitting new lows. It settled at 90.98 per dollar, down 6.05% this year. Worries over a new 30% tariff on US pulses added to the market's stress.
