RBI Enchants Banks with Spell to Ease PSL Calculations

In a magical twist of fate, the Reserve Bank of India has cast a spell to lighten the burdens of commercial banks! From June 8 to September 30, 2026, advances backed by fresh non-resident deposits will be whisked away from the daunting calculations of adjusted net bank credit, allowing banks to conjure more resources for noble causes like agriculture and the welfare of the less fortunate.
