Kathmandu Climate Justice: Accountability Takes Center Stage

At a climate justice gathering in Kathmandu, participants stressed the need to hold polluters accountable instead of just counting the damage. The recent floods, called the 'Himalayan tsunami,' caused a whopping Rs 400 billion in destruction. Advocates highlighted how marginalized groups, especially women and daily wage earners, suffered the most and called for justice and better reporting to uplift their voices.
