Homegrown Indian Founders Outshine Returnees in Startups
A new study shows that Indian startup founders, who grow their businesses at home, are outshining those who return from abroad. Analyzing 596 startups from 2016 to 2023, the research reveals that local entrepreneurs are achieving better results, while returnees mainly fill specialized roles. This is what they call the 'returnee paradox'! It seems homegrown talent is taking the lead in India's startup scene.
