The city of Onamia is currently engaged in preparations for its annual summer festival.
This period of community readiness coincided with the May meeting of the Onamia City Council. Mayor Marge Agnew presided over the session, initiating the proceedings.
Early in the meeting, Mayor Agnew brought a specific matter to the council's attention. She asked the panel to explore the possibility of adopting a practice that has been noted in the opening minutes of meetings conducted by other city councils.
