Reliance Board Approves Jio IPO Following AGM Announcement

MUMBAI — At Reliance Industries' 49th Annual General Meeting held in June 2026, Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani stated that the company's board has given approval for a Reliance Jio Initial Public Offering (IPO).

According to reports from Abp News published on June 19, 2026, following this announcement at the AGM, Reliance Industries is filing its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). Ambani stated that after the DRHP submission, details regarding the IPO size, valuation, and fund-raising plans will be officially disclosed.

The announcement marks a significant development for Reliance Jio's planned listing on Indian stock exchanges. The filing process is expected to provide further clarity on the terms of the offering.

Reliance Industries Market Position in Nifty 50

During his address at the AGM, Mukesh Ambani noted that Reliance Industries Limited is currently listed as the largest company within the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty 50 Index. The market capitalization of Reliance Industries was reported to be ₹20,53,146 crores.
