MI London will take on Sunrisers Leeds in Match No. 1 of The Hundred Men's 2026 on July 21 at Kennington Oval, London, as the sixth edition of the tournament gets underway.
Formerly known as Oval Invincibles, MI London were rebranded after the Mumbai Indians franchise acquired a stake in the team. Led by Sam Curran, the side boasts a star-studded lineup featuring Jason Roy, Will Jacks, Nicholas Pooran, Trent Boult, and Richard Gleeson. They enter the season as the reigning champions, having clinched the title in each of the last three editions, and will be aiming to extend their remarkable dominance.
Meanwhile, Sunrisers Leeds, formerly Northern Superchargers, also begin a new chapter under their revamped identity. Captained by Zak Crawley, their squad includes the likes of Mitchell Marsh, Dan Lawrence, Ryan Rickelton, Brydon Carse, and Nathan Ellis. With a refreshed setup and a balanced squad, Sunrisers Leeds will be eager to make a strong start and challenge the defending champions in the tournament opener.
